After Hours Emergencies

A healthcare provider is on-call at all times, for urgent medical matters. You may access after-hours care by calling our office number (406) 442-1231. Calls are answered by a voice-messaging system, so please listen to the instructions carefully. The on-call provider will return your call within 15 minutes. We kindly ask that messages be left for urgent medical matters only. Concerns related to prescription refills, appointments, billing questions, etc. should be addressed during regular business hours. If you have a medical emergency, please go directly to the Emergency Room or dial 911.

Urgent/Sick Visits

We put urgent/sick appointments at the top of this list because many of our patients aren't aware that we leave a number of appointments open every day for same-day calls. Call us first for your sore throat, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, earaches, etc. We also treat minor injuries, aches/pains and the need for stitches. If you feel you need a prescription, you will need an appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you. In the event of an emergency, please call 911 or proceed directly to the emergency room.

Wellness & Routine Preventive Services

Our goal is to work with you in a health partnership to protect your health and help you live as healthy as you can. There are many diseases, illnesses, and injuries that can be prevented by a vaccine, early detection or other measures. Monitoring your health using the most up-to-date recommendations and clinical guidelines allow your healthcare provider to know how well you are doing and identify potential risks before there are complications.

  • We recommend a Wellness/Routine appointment once a year for a physical, diagnostic lab testing, a gynecological exam for women and other exams or procedures, depending on your age and health.

  • Children are scheduled for periodic well-child exams to monitor their growth and development and remain current on their age-appropriate immunizations.

Chronic Disease Management

We believe it is very important for those patients with long term health concerns to work with their healthcare provider to protect their health and prevent complications from their illness.

  • We encourage our patients to learn as much as possible about managing their illness.

  • Chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, lung disease, and other serious long-term illnesses need regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure patients remain as healthy as possible.

  • Patients with multiple chronic diseases or those that are monitored closely will need return visits at regular intervals, typically every three to six months. Many conditions require routine diagnostic tests to monitor the patient's progress and help the provider design the best treatment plan.
